The International Alpine Hot Air Balloon Center (CAIBAC) is an association established to promote the village of Château-d’Oex and its region, as well as hot air ballooning.

CONTACT
CAIBAC is made up of members who took part in the creation of the first Château-d’Oex balloon in 1979. Its colors and logo are still in use today. It is also a center of expertise that has enabled local pilots to develop the art of mountain ballooning.
The association brings together local, regional, national, and international pilots who actively support all ballooning-related activities in Château-d’Oex.
The club’s activities include:
- Support and participation in the International Hot Air Balloon Festival
- Center of expertise for mountain ballooning
- Transmission of know-how through the École Romande d’Aérostation
- Representation of the Château-d’Oex balloons at international meetings
- Reception and guidance for people interested in ballooning, including how to become a pilot
- Partner for the creation of a hot air balloon to promote your company
